  • I'm a die hard blues guitarist.

I like this guy's version of Shake For Me perhaps as much or more than SRV's. Great tone, upbeat, high-energy style. One of the best blues solos played excellently.

I like the vocals similarly as well. You rock!

  • You had my attention from the very first note you played. Well done! I plan on coming back down to Austin later this summer/fall. Oregon is just way too dreary. Love the way you play.

  • sounds good.

  • Hi guys, Trent Turner here. I plead guilty to loving SRV as well as Fender strats. But after a gillion gigs in Austin I have found that I can go to my grave someday pretty happy that I did develop my own style. I just play what I feel. I love SRV's music, but I don't think about it when I play. I just try to express what I feel. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took time to watch this video and listen to the music. If any of y'all are ever in Austin let me know. We play often

  • @wes8870 I'm not saying he has a custom SRV replica with all the hardware or anything, just that he's probably bought a sunburst Strat because SRV played one.

  • @migthegreek

This guitar was made by Fender and that's where the similarities end.

  • If that don't get you dancin, nuthin much will.

Good job Trent.Let us all know when in Montreal.

  • Well clearly he has the SRV guitar and strap but nothing wrong with trying to play like your heroes.
