This would be an awesome mouse trap.

@ndgambella: That is correct. What I was trying to say is that we experience n+1 dimensions, where n is the number of spatial dimensions, with one time dimension. Using your example, moving your hand in 2D space requires a time dimension to move it through, thus that is 3 dimensions. Anyways I don't even remember what my original comment was on haha.

@sutasman we don't live in the dimension of "time".. we only see cross sections of the dimension above us... we call that "the present" much like if you passed your hand thru a 2 dimensional space, you would only see the cross sections of your hand passing thru it

@obalisk990: i can honestly comprehend a tesseract. not a penteract or 5d hypercube though, that blows my mind haha. also have you thought about time? we move through 3d space and 1d time, or 4d space-time. so at the very least, anything created in n-dimensional space would be in n+1 dimensions, since 'time' is everywhere, if that even makes sense.

this basket style really gives the illusion, that there is no exact intersection between the tubes

@obalisk990 jokes jokes jokes.

@Sourpencil ummm no, thats suggesting we only perceive 2 dimensions because we have 2 eyes. any being created in a 3 dimensional universe is bound to the laws of those 3 dimensions meaning we will never and can never truly experience 4 dimensions or above. look up a tesseract and tell me if you can comprehend.

@MrCGangsta We live in a universe with 3 spatial dimensions + time. The fourth dimension would have 4 spatial dimension + time and would add on to length, width and height.
-
@TheFourthHouse Hö ? the 4th dimansion is time !
maybe, we don't know exactly 'till we get 4 eyes LOL
