it would probably be much cheaper to do this with a laptop connected to it and a lot easier

OK, so for $1025 I can see on a little screen where my friend is, or for $150 I can just get on the radio and ask him.

I was shopping around and thinking of getting this radio for my first mobile/base radio setup. Is APRS used for mobile operations only? Can it be used for home operations as well? I'm new to this aprs stuff. Was looking at the TM-v71a also. Good video. New to aprs. 73's.

How do u mount the avmap on top of the kenwood 710? I have all the brackets. Pics would help too. Thanks

Don, will the Avmap G5 interface with the new Yaesu FTM-350R just as it does with the Kenwood or is the APRS interface Kenwood specific? 73's.

Don, still love watching this cool little video. Any chance you could do one on setting up the 710 and AvMap as a mobile infill digipeater. I think I've got my setting right, but your the man !!!

one target only but you can set to navigate also one aprs station that will recalculate on reposition
