This isn't my favorite song but I think it's a much more sophisticated audio presentation than Joni Mitchell's. I don't want to run out and get a tattoo. It would be nice to have my culture back.

I adore Maire. Her voice isn't loud but it's very compelling. Much more musical than Joni's (usually).

By 'my old man', I think Mitchell actually referred to her ex, not her pop. In that this video seem quite bizarre to me.

This song is about Hawaii, hence the tribal body art work is appr.

Joni was looking out of her hotel at the *Pink Palace, Royal hawaiian hotel in Waikiki. The tree museum is Foster gardens in Honolulu, where they moved the trees too ($5.50 to see 'um now, lol.) ... Sure you know the rest..
