i started to read the book in jail but didnt finish now im wanting to finish it and change my life for the better and get close to god

I have this book and its wonderful I am only on chapter four but I am loving it. I love the questions to consider at the end. on chapter one what I thought about when it ask how can I remind myself that life is really about living for god and not for myself. Before I became a christian I thought that I was in control of my life but i was mistaken big time i am living for him just like you said I do everything because God wills me to.

perhaps you might listen to the discussion on the book by a former newager who shows the pdl is full of things he got saved from like i did too. twincities fellowship has a radio program of earlier talk on it. Its CIC ministries if memory serves well. you couldnt possibly realize how deceptive the pdl is till your eyes get opened up about it. yet if you are not a truthseeker to find out if its true or not then you will need to deal with the consequences of of its heretical concepts one soon day

Rick Warren misquotes scriptures and authors throughout this book. It's a good message - but he takes GREAT license to rewrite - resay - scriptures and authors - so I am a bit leary about Rick Warren. Read the bible for yourself to find purpose.

Rick Warren is a godly man who is used by God through the Holy Spirit to bring hope, encouragement and love for God's word and His kingdom.how many homeless people have u fed today,prayed with,talked to..visit Saddleback church before you dog someone.Let God be the judge..God of the universe who came to the earth through a virgin by the Holy Spirit,born as a man, walked the earth,died,resurrected on the 3rd day to save those who confess Jesus is Lord and only this Jesus!!

this chapter gave me a question the same question, life cannot be that meaningless, everything has a purpose mostly a lot of things were given a purpose but there is one thing why are we here and what is the purpose of living in this world if we don't know, I'm sure our lives will go on wrong ways...........

In Mark 9:40, He says: For he who is not against us is for us. Thousands of people, if not more, have decided to follow Jesus because of his work, as a pastor.
