The best part was the end result. Same with the 2011 finals.

Thrilling team & postseason. Problem was these Canucks had already peaked & window was about to slam shut. They had best teams in 1992 & 1993 but had bitter 2nd round losses both years, first by Oilers team on its last legs & then by Kings squad on their own last ditch cinderella run to Cup Final. In 1994 they outlasted tough but weary Calgary crew in 1st round, then matched up perfectly vs Stars & Leafs, but would never deny NYR the Cup. Teams cannot afford to squander chances to break thru.
