Season eight of ROADTRIP NATION follows two teams of 20-something Roadtrippers as they travel coast-to-coast in an attempt to answer the eternal question: What do I want to do with my life? Over the course of six weeks, the Roadtrippers learn more about themselves and their futures by speaking with leaders that they admire. Interviewees include: Soledad O'Brien, a CNN news anchor; Gale Gand, a pastry chef; Todd McFarlane, creator of the comic book series Spawn; Craig Robinson, an actor on the NBC series The Office; Judge Penny Brown Reynolds, star of the reality television show Family Court With Judge Penny and Hannah Song, president of Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), a nonprofit that aids North Korean refugees. Each shares inspirational stories of facing their fears, following their passions and realizing their dreams. The teams also face major obstacles — including one which nearly ends their Roadtrips altogether — that test their resilience and remind them about what truly matters in life.
