LGHS vs Auburndale (43-6 W), 9-16-11_V5

Lake Gibson High School (Braves) visited the Auburndale Bloodhounds on 9/16/11. Reuben (# 44, DE) played well on kickoffs/punt coverage as he gets down the field very quickly and puts himself in the right place to make plays most of the times. LGHS dominated the game from start to finish, and the only thing stopping them from scoring more was the game clock. In any case, it was a solid performance after a heart-breaking loss to rivals, Lake Wales the previous week.

Freshmen almost never get any playing time in high-school football, especially at big time football programs like LGHS that have won their district title in recent years. Usually they are sent to the Jr Varsity team which features less talented/experienced players or if they are good enough to play Sr Varsity are relegated to the bench in favor of more experienced starters.
