One of the best songs ever. I love the Temptation's rendition of this!

@countryfunkinbunkin Dang man if this was twitter, I'd re-tweet what you just said cuz that's REAL TALK!

Gawd dang its so uncanny how much Jamie Foxx looks like Louis Price! Anyway, I gotta say my top 3 favorite post-Ruffin/Edwards lead replacements that have ever been in the Temptations are: 3. Ali-Ollie Woodson, 2. Theo Peoples, and 1. LOUIS PRICE! Man I dont know why he didn't come back to Motown with the rest of the Temps when they re-signed in 1980. This "Jerry Butler-type of swag style" I think is amazing! I just read Otis's book a 2nd time and he never elaborated on why he let Louis go. WACK

I have never heard this version. But it is good!

@kmhatman Gordy apparently had a very ugly dark side when dealing with his artist headliners n all others. Rick James ,Commodores, Teena Marie, The Jackson5, The Temptations and that's the tip of the iceberg. Musicians are over worked under paid or great music is shelved because of egos that can come from both sides. To many chronic under achievers in all facets of society and musics no different sacrificing quality for quick easy low rent n high profit yields. Art loses out greed rules..

does it matter this one or the other.... this is poor quality in sound but both are great, and I like this one for its length... but the album versions of A Song For You and Memories are tryli great memories...

Louis Price, in my opinion, was the only "David Ruffin replacement" who was accepted into the group for his own vocal styling. The several older comments which stated that Louis could not sing, apparently were submitted by individuals with no vocal abilities nor the ability to hear excellent work. Many blessings to all the Temptations, past and present.
