@dragonstormx Oh, ok. Well, since I left my comment, I've done some research on the main-series, and I've come to become a fan of it. So, not only do I know what's ACTUALLY going on, but I also know that I now love the series. Thanks.

This and the Persona series are set in different universes.

What does the title screen of this game look like? I swear it reminds me of the Taizokai mandala from Japanese Buddhism,

Even saying it's "Nearly a remake" is completely misleading someone. The games aren't similar, except on the very basic level, and even then you're grasping for straws. Fusion? Right, except it's vastly different. Character can summon/recruit demons? Yep, but it's a completely new system. Nocturne and SMTI feature completely different types of stories, gameplay, and morality. It's a sequel, not anything close to a remake. You're getting a completely different game from SMTI.

1. Thinking of old games? Yes. Except there's no Chaos vs Law till the Demon endings, which are only Chaos. You've got Shijima, Musubi, and Yosuga. The ideologies of the paths are much different.
2. Again, they're not Law and Chaos.
3. Then you obviously haven't played Nocturne if you think that's the only difference.
4. You said, and I quote, "so many of the elements are the same that it's nearly a remake" and "in a sense they kinda redo SMT 1. It was called SMT: Nocturne"
-
Alright, point by point to clarify this.
1. Technically there aren't Law and Chaos routes, but looking at the ideologies it's close enough that the writers were definitely thinking of the old games.
2. I said it had great similarities, including that your two friends go down what's close enough to Law and Chaos routes to call it that.
3. To me the only difference in the worlds is the lack of humans
4. I never said it was an actual remake, just that there were large similarities.

My point stands. What you listed is wrong, anyways. There's no Law vs Chaos in Nocturne. Hikawa and Takao, there are more than just "two friends". The world after the Conception is far different from the post-apocalyptic world in SMTI. Hikawa isn't exactly trying to take over the world in Nocturne. And how is Aleph possibly being in Nocturne mean a remake of SMTI? That's just comparing the absolute bare-bones. Once you get into detail, the games are HUGELY different.
Wow... when you ran in to the wall after talking to your dog and it made the *DONK* noise i just could not stop laughing xD
