@LesterPaul01 Super Reverb. sometimes I type superverb because I'm lazy. I now own this pedal..ugh..it's the fattest snarly Od. It has an organic sound that few other pedals duplicate.

I wonder how it would sound using my paul? black crowes to a tee. Rock on.

@jonsteveg Wow, what is that? A cross between a Twin and a Super reverb? LOL. Now that I listened to your vid again, I have come to terms that the fire ant kicks some serious sound around. Rock on!

@LesterPaul01 I actually own a 75 watt Superverb. quite the animal.

@TortugaEffects Thanks a ton!

@jonsteveg Tone is all preference and what our ears are searching for. TS 808 is the base of what I hear in all overdrives. Obviously, a cranked low watt tube amp (fender super reverb) is the best overdrive out there. There hasn't been a pedal made that can emulate that kind of tone. Do you know of one? I love the headroom of my twin but I would trade in for a 45wat super in a second. Live and learn. Rock on. P.S. The ant does sound very good.

@LesterPaul01 sounds like you settled. this sounds fantastic and very unique to me versus other OD's out there.
What's the difference between this and the Abduction?
They seem identical controlwise, and youtube clips don't hone the tonal differences too much..
Give it to me in full - I want specs and details:)

The Fire Ant and the Abduction are based on the same circuit. The major difference is the clipping stages. The Abduction has a Germanium Diode clipping section in positions 1 and 2 whereas the Fire Ant has a different Germanium diode section in pos 1 and a silicon section in 2. Position 3 on both is basically a clipping bypass that slams the amp. It may not seem like much difference and I know YouTube only shows so much but in person they are very different animals.
