only a 2000 rpm powerband for the aprilia rs.... if you get the 11kw version perhaps and even then its more then that

I own a RS125 wich is full power,and it pulls real good from 7000 up to 11.500

and bottom end isn't too bad either (thq's to the power valve)

If you can ride a two-stroke too the max,you can do the same with a four-stroke

but its harder the other way arround...because a two-stroke requiers shifting at the right moments,so you have to know your bike and what you're doing

Sounds to me like the 2 stroke is less forgiving of mistakes, which would help you to become a better racer...

@marquessimon no until 34 hp but 40 are possible, too ... 4 strokes are fucking shit on a race track until 250 hp
