I've not done any editing on this. Uploaded straight from the camera. Sad - during the demolition of one of the most iconic buildings in Seaview. Used as a café for many years and featuring in countless old Edwardian postcards. Thought I should capture something of the partial ruins before it was all cleared away.

  • So sad, should never have been allowed change of use to residential. WIth Seagrove Bay being so hard to get to the cafe was crucial to a day on the beach especially with a tribe of children in tow.

  • @uvanu Yep, I totally agree. Many memories of popping into there to get some amazing ice creams - who wants to go all the way to Madeira Road for one? Such a shame.

  • Shame, I just looked for this on Google Street View, it's complete there but with scaffold.
