Dr. Harold Agnew, who took part on the mission that dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima. He was the one who took the pictures on the moment the bomb exploded.
Exhibited on Japanese TV among the Hiroshima disaster 60th anniversary ceremonies - August, 2005

Sorry for the poor quality. The video is also incomplete, but that's all I've got.

As Dr. Agnew says in this video, Japanese government and military must be blamed for deploying military bases inside the cities and for starting the war and driving Japan into the war, not the US.

Japan also desperately tried to develop its own a-bombs even by trying to get help from Nazai Germany via submarine U-234 in 1945 but failed to develop Japan's own a-bombs. Japan tried to develop its own a-bombs for agricultural or humanitarian purposes, didn't they?

  • Fucking Liberal Morons, lets just forget the 12million plus people that the Japs killed during their mad fucking campaign and while we are at it lets celebrate the birth of Adolf Hitler. Fucking ass hats get you head outta your ass just long enough to think with some logic here. Japanese Civilians who were murdered??? fuck you!!! Soldiers are civilians too, more than 12million innocent lives were lost at the hands of Jap Civilians. Murder is murder there is no distinction between the two.

  • i think using the atomic bomb was a better alternative than invading japan, but couldn't we have dropped it on soldiers instead of civilians? the US should've done more to negotiate a surrender first too.

this guy is infuriating. and so arrogant. saying there are no innocent civilians and going on about pearl harbor, wtf? i think 3000 soldiers died in pearl harbor. 300,000 civilians died in japan from the explosions and their effects.

  • @MASTERNCS Fuu! An eye for an eye makes the world go blind!

  • Is it just me or did the American come across as an arrogant asshole who has no remorse, and once again points the fingers at others without accepting some of the blame themselves? Dont think Japan bombed Pearl Harbour for no reason, the US and there embargo's and sanctions forced Japan into no other choice but conflict. Both sides are to blame, both sides need to apologize and recognize 2 wrongs makes noone right. Learn from it, and move on. I'm glad Japan has learned, now the US needs too

  • "There are no innocent civilians" is one of the most repugnant arguments I've ever seen, and all it's ever served to do was justify brutal acts of mass-murder against defenseless men, women, and children.

There are people who disagree with me, of course: Most of them are either stupid, ignorant, mentally ill, brain-damaged, or just evil.
