that lack of warming is due to an increase of warming...warmer temps increase the amount of water vapor (which is a green house gas) which increases the amount of cloud cover, which reflects sun light...the north atlantic conveyer brings warm water from the equator to the arctic regions, the melting of greenland and all the ice sheets releases fresh water into this current and disrupts it wich could send us into another ice age if it goes unchecked...

@Mendelevium, There is a debate about whether we are headed for global warming or global cooling; if global warming, to what extent is this man-made and to what extent is it due to natural fluctuations on the earth and in the solar system? If largely man-made, what are appropriate remedies and what are mere money-making schemes?

oh yeah and god forbid somebody hacks into george bush's computer and found 2 or 3 lines of discrediting information. they would be foaming at the mouth and it would be all over television for weeks. these bastards will fight this bullshit to the end, no matter what proof is given against it.
