Pulsar DigiSight N550 First Night Run

The first night time run with the Pulsar unit around the local fields - spotting rabbits out to 100 yards and testing clarity and performance. The built in illuminator gives approx. 50 metre capability, whilst the additional illuminator increases this to around 200 metres. Picture quality is certainly on a par with generation 2 equipment (some would say better!) althought the realistic price of the unit (£995) places it in the budget of the airgunner and rim fire shooter, as well as the centrefire fox shooter. Unit performance is considerably better than the video footage - some clarity was lost in the low res version sent to YT. Muntjac deer stepping out the wood was a pleasant surprise! Just for your information - he was not shot!!
