At the 1997 Macworld Expo (August 5-8) in Boston, Steve Jobs announced that Apple would be entering into partnership with Microsoft. Included in this was a five-year commitment from Microsoft to release Microsoft Office for Macintosh as well a US$150 million investment in Apple.
Steve Jobs' presentation started with Apple's status report. His expression was very relaxed and has a continuous flow of thought.

That awkward moment when 1 audience member thinks this is a good thing and starts clapping. Hahaha.

He had a Vision!
He came. He conquered!
He was the founder of Apple and we, here in this video, are viewing Apple being founded. Again!

The problem is however, that Macs are bloody expensive. For the price of this Macbook, I could easily get a Windows laptop with a similar build quality but with much better specs. It probably would not overheat as much either.

As an owner of both a custom-built PC and a Macbook Pro, I can safely say that both are nothing special. Both crash about the same and both do the exact same things. I like OSX and Windows 7 equally.

Funny. As I own the cheapest iMac available from late 2010 and can surf the web, watch videos, listen to music, install Windows (optional), play games (from Minecraft to WoW to Dragon Age to SWTOR and even more), edit movies, edit audio, edit images, create office documents, email, pretty much anything. If I'd bought one of the more expensive iMacs I could run games on higher settings but I don't care about that. That's what my console is for. Oh, and Android > iPhone

Brilliantly said. I used to own a custom built PC back at the end of 2008 with top-end hardware. Yeah, it screamed, but something went wrong and I spent the next year and a half troubleshooting it along with the store that built it with me. Never got fixed. In the end the store closed down. I'd had enough with the headaches, sold my motorcycle for £1,000 (couldn't afford insurance), bought a Mac August 2010 and am still happily using it to this day.

Nobody could do what Steve did. may be in another 100 years or not ever. It looks so simple of what he did but it's hard to find a guy with great common sense, great leadershipo and has so clear vision and so sure of himself and with balls?
