Final Fantasy VIII Elvoret Boss Battle

This is a continuation of the last video with the Biggs and Wedge Boss Battle. This is another SeeD Field Exam battle in Final Fantasy VIII. I used Guardian Forces (GF's) a lot in this battle due to the high defense of Elvoret and the YouTube time limit. Not too hard, but kind of a boring battle. The first order of business was to draw the newest GF Siren! Other than that, some summoning, attacking and curing, that was pretty much the battle plan. Zell's Duel helped speed things up a little in the end as well. Enjoy!

Your vids really make me realize how much I have forgotten about FFVIII :D I'm know quite a lot of things about FFVII, FFXI and FFX (especially VII), but I missed so much in FFVIII.

Isn't this creature also a regular enemy at the very end of the game?

Unlike you my friend, this is the FF I know most about. I know a lot about FFX as well and I know nothing about FFXI. Not sure if you meant XI or IX, but even FFIX I don't know a lot about. There is a creature you find in Esthar on Disc 3 that is the same, but is colored differently, is a regular monster and ironically has higher stats (strength, HP and such). That guys name is Elnoyle, one that you'll face a lot later to get some items for the best weapons in the game.

im a BIG FF7-FF8 fan. those 2 happen to be my favorites, and i know everything and anything about both. i also LOVE FFX, and know alot about that one too. FF7 is my all time favorite, but FF8 is a CLOSE second, and FF10 is a close 3rd. I think FF8 has better music than ANY other FF though. FF7 just has the greatest storyline ever written

For me it's FF8, then 10, then 7 with 12 a close 4th. X-2 is awesome too, and very underrated, but I just couldn't get into 9 as much.

Yeah, that was a typo, I meant IX... About that monster, I guess that's why I remembered it, 'cause I needed those items.
