@minteko keep listening to nasa. its part of federal govent and we know agencies such as tsa always tell the truth. ts said airport scanners dont impose radiation, figures out they admitted that it increases cancer risk by 7 percent and even more if you go through it weekly or monthly. health/environment agency said after 9/11 the dust was save to breath months later hundreds died. 2 weeks ago they said in japan radiation levels are low. now they say its at chernobyl's level.
@minteko Actually space craft sent outside the safety of the magnetic field must be shielded against the harmful rays. Mars is a almost geologically dead planet and has no such magnetic shield. The surface of mars is pelted with massive amounts of radiation and strong flairs could kill a human being fairly quickly (mars is further away from the sun too...)
anyone would think the sun is harmful with these visuals, but it can't be that bad because they sent a man to the moon and they didn't have any magnetic shields, so.... if the Earth's magnetic field fails! according to NASA we'll be super fine, just need a stronger sun block.. chill ;)

cant we just use like 2 big magnets to charge the energy for the generator?

Hm.... interesting question!
I guess it would require too much energy.

hey guys can I ask you a question? why can't we just build a electric-field charger generator around Earth for protection?
