Hi Gaga,
I'm not quite sure whether you got the message through our videoclip. Due to the lack of financial resources we couldn't do it as we imagined it to be. Well, we've decided to use some of the elements that are found in your recent videos, the eye of horus and the influence of the Catholic church.
While listening to your song the following images came to my mind: a person on his deathbed although he has to deal with his loneliness, he's the only one dying in that room, he's got the presence of someone who loves him. Also, it's a moment when you're not anxious anymore, nothing else can be done, it's when the truth hits you, you could have had a completely different life but you made your choices and it's time to surrender to the joy of accomplishing the goal of living and you did as much as you could have. The idea with the mirrors was to emphasise the loneliness but also the ghosts of your whole life (parents, relatives, friends, lovers, etc). There was one idea we couldn't do, a person hanging from a window in the space, in complete loneliness but also joy, of becoming a real star, or actually, going back to his original state, start dust. And the last idea was based on the ecstasy of Saint Therese, who is on the edge of glory, but a controversial one, because when you take a look at the statue you can't define whether her joy is heavenly or sexually derived. We tried to do that in a position that would also take us to the yin/yang that represents the union of masculine and feminine (even though originally the idea was thought of being performed by two men, so we could tease people a bit) reaffirming that only in the balance (and it doesn't matter what kind of balance) there's true glory.
I hope you all like it a lot and let us know if you did.
Thanks.
