My LASEK Procedure by Dr. Chynn - Part 1 of 2

After hearing lots of research and hearing such positive feedback on Dr. Chynns practice, I was still worried that I would not be considered a candidate. I was -13 in one eye and -12 in the other legally blind! I wasnt sure about whether or not the technology was going to be able to help my extreme myopia, and I had already been told that the only solution was some kind of surgically implanted permanent contacts. I was NOT willing to have contact implants!
I called the office and I was greeted by a friendly voice letting me know the initial consultation was free. From that meeting, I was convinced that I had come to the right place. Dr. Chynn and his fellows listened to my concerns and offered absolutely no pressure. In their opinion, the LASEK procedure was the best option for me and, because of my high myopia, it would be unwise to consider the lasik procedures offered elsewhere. There was no guarantee that lasik procedures, already a dated technology, could offer the eyesight that I wanted. On the other hand, Dr. Chynn was confident that our minimal results would give me 20/40 vision a vast improvement over my bottle-like glasses and that the chances were high that I could be seeing 20/20 after three months. I was happy with all the literature the office offered me, and was satisfied that Dr. Chynns services were the best possible option.
From beginning to end, I was impressed that the office was so thorough while I was in their care. The procedure was painless, the post-operation experience was guided entirely by what was best for me and the staffs knowledge in getting patients back on their feet, and I would confidently recommend the entire experience to everyone. I was able to receive the very best in care and services and Dr. Chynns authority in the field helped me feel very secure the whole time.
