Krissy Dunn Johnson talks about the recently acquired McRae Papers Collection. These papers provide rare documentation of blockade running and the purchasing operations of the Confederacy. The documents belonged to Colin J. McRae, the South's purchasing agent in England.
i have what i believe are the enlistment and discharge papers from one of my dads kin. they show he was paid a 100 dollar bounty and lots of dates and stuff. on the back of one some1 wrote keep this it may be worth something 1 day. the name on them is alfred p.w. longan

Wow !!! What an Awesome job Krissy has. I would love to do something like that. Thank you so much for posting this Video. I have been a Military Collector for over 25 year's. I think it is a great hobby and a great way to learn about history. One of my favorite places to go is Gettysburg. I get such a strong feeling when ever I go there.
