@ChuckNoarus it was not a license renewal, that would only be 29 bucks. This was to get my license back from a suspension i got from when i vomited while hand-cuffed in the back of a police vehicle. The really infuriating part about the offense is i've already paid over 700 in fines to the court as well as 48 hours community service and the DMV decides to slap me with a 90-day suspension and this bullshit elevated fee to get my license back. this doesn't happen in most states.

@ChuckNoarus I don't know, i pushed them as far as i could and it didn't take much extra time on my part. Just had to order the pennies from the bank in advance. Next time i would be sure to get the name of the supervisor who said i could use coin. I tried to get some law enforcement agency, like the secret service or treasury, but no one actually enforces currency laws, so i found out by talking to the treasury.

take them to a coinstar, or a bank, dumbass you think that lady has the time to count your pennies. Your arrogence is neanderthalic. People waiting in line and you pull this. He did this purposly and came with a camera to make a statement. You can take the time to go to a bank and change $50 into pennies instead of just paying like a normal person. Your statement is "I'm an idiot". And it should state that on your license.
