Google "FDA aspartame" or "FDA fluoride"or "FDA msg", research for a few weeks, and then get back to me. Until then, I am wasting my time with you. Just ignore my posts, please. It is clear that they are not intended for you.

If you said that the FDA are not guided by public health by assuring the safety, instead they are guided by what the industry wants - then this is not a straw man argument.
The FDA mission statement is clear. Are you telling me that they are lying to everyone?

@NaomiChambers I'm not sure where you got the "out to hurt Americans" part. That's a bit of a strawman. Like I stated before, the government classifies Borax as a poison. Studies show that it is linked to developmental disorders in children. Toxic exposure of borax can lead to red and peeling skin, kidney failure and seizures. It is also liked to infertility. If you choose to put that on your body or the body of someone you care about, that is your choice. I choose not to because it is toxic.

So, you are saying that the FDA is industry driven, and out to hurt Americans?
NaomiChambers 9 months ago
@NaomiChambers Hi Naomi, I did research on Borax on my own while formulating recipes for soap, lotion, and body butter. It seems like many of the policies of the FDA are industry-driven. Many of the doctors and scientists who do research for the FDA have spoken out about this. That said, the government officially classifies Borax as a poison. It isn't available for sale in parts of Europe because of concerns that it can cause birth defects and problems with the reproductive organs of children.

@pungaloid
Did the FDA confirm this?

Borax is toxic and can be absorbed through the skin, especially through steady exposure. It is completely unnecessary and dangerous to include it in any "natural" product.
