This is from Fantazia takes you into the jungle 2? right?
This is what got me into this music in the first place man.
Probably the best jungle/DnB compilation you can get, that ive heard anyway. Would recommend to anyone.
Look it up on discogs....if you want the best vintage breakbeat. nice upload 5 stars !

unreleased prototype, there was another one called one nation - they were supposed to be prototype 3 and 6. an old mate of mine was given the test presses by grooverider in australia many years ago. they are now both in another old mate's excellent private collection in south london.

Great tune. I've been banging this for a few years now and I really wish I could buy/find this track or mp3 uncut. I am working on a mix where this would fit in perfectly.

If you want the whole record, just google:

Just a heads up for those who haven't heard the record: this isn't Photek only, much of the previous track, Unplugged by Appaloosa, is there too.

@reasonfan1 true. i remember when i first heard 'elaborate burn' by fsol and i was like hang on, this is can we change the future, when in fact fsol were the creators so props to them

Darn Grooverider...

one of the top unrealeased tunes no doubt,
just a correction, this compilation Fantazia was released in 94 not 99.
-
amazing. first heard this on Kings of the Jungle with MC Conrad in 1995.

@onecup77 i bet there's a few people who'd say exactly the same thing

It's possible it wasn't released because of the strings sampled from Future Sound Of London's "Cascade". Photek and Source Direct were notorious for sampling big chunks of FSOL without permission on their early releases and I seem to recall FSOL threatening to sue in a magazine interview if it happened again.
@yashioman, Can i ask your age mate ? D&B is nothing compared to back in the early - mid 90,s. If you lived and expirienced this music from the start you would know what i am talking about........OLDskool here mate & been into it since 92 !

@77OLDskool Older than 2 decades. I agree with you. I don't listen or agree with the music that is played nowadays. I was someone who had the honor of living in the Bronx/Manhattan ghetto's of New York, growing up with some of the best music (in my opinion). I live on old skool jungle/oldskool rap/experimental electronic music types of any sort.
