german engineering may be great, but workers stink. particularly in construction. They build houses like amateurs. Their build methods are 50 years behind the USA. They have no sense of aesthetics or design. They never step back and look at there work to see if it is good or not. They simply don't care if something is straight or not. The government has no specific building codes. everything is subject to interpretation. The consumer has no rights and there is no such thing as a fixed price.
