Keep Your Eyes On the Prize

A tribute to Pete Seeger.

As Pete Seeger will be playing in the church hall just a couple of blocks from my home tomorrow, I thought I would post a song in his honor.
One of the very first songs that I learned from Pete Seeger was the song "Keep Your Hand On That Plow, Hold On" and this Freedom Riders version of this song is perfect as Pete was so active in the Rights Movements throughout his long life.

Thanks for this wonderful rendition! I adore Pere Seeger both nusically and morally--he's a truly great figure, and his activity in the face of advancing age is an inspiration. What luck to be seeing him!

Speaking of advancing age... today at 3PM i am going to see Pete Seeger (89 years old) and at 9:30PM I am going to see Dave Brubeck (87 years old). Can't think of a better way to spend my Saturday.
