  • what fight was that at 3:38?

  • @Brand21Productions That was against Albert Airapetian from back in 2005. The guy that runs up and attacks Sergio was Airapetian's brother.

  • @Squeezybloodhat you're right, but the thing is martinez is always bragging about his ability. Why not challenging antonio margarito for a rematch? or cotto? Both guys have huge followers in their respective countries. By the way, may i know the PPV buys of his (martinez) previous fight?

  • @garanolan I think if Cotto and Margarito have a re-match, the winner would be a very good option for Martinez. He'd be favored over either guy, but they'd both be a good scalp to add to his resume, and a good money fight. There were talks of a fight with Cotto before, and Cotto just said he would take the fight if the deal was good enough, so it sounds like he's game. Martinez last fight played on regular HBO with the Andy Lee-Greg McEwen fight on the undercard. Don't know how many viewers.

  • @Squeezybloodhat maybe he should fight miguel cotto first because he a champion is 154 pounds right now. Manny pacquiao will no longer fight above 147 pounds, so if he wants to get a huge amount of money, martinez must go down to 147 in order to have a date with pacquiao. If he will not go down to 147, then he is a gay. He is calling the cash cows but he will not go to their weight division?

  • @garanolan If Pac thinks he's a legit 154 champ, then he should be willing to take on a real threat at the weight (the real weight, no catch-weight BS), but Pac is a small WW, and I wouldn't hold it against him to avoid 154 from now on because he's too small. Martinez won't go low enough and Pac won't go high enough so the fight will not get made, I don't see anyone as being in the wrong there, they just don't want to go to far out of their comfort zones against a fighter of the others caliber.

  • Martinez looks big and strong. Floyd's gonna demand drug tests and Pac's gonna demand a catchweight.. LoL

Seriously, I don't think Pac-Martinez is a fair fight at 154. Martinez will be drained and Pac will be bloated. The small dude can't even make 146 let alone 150 or 154. He met Margo halfway at 150 because... well it was Margo. He already vacated the 154 belt because he knows how much it means (nothing).

  • @garanolan Those guys come into fights well into the 180's, and Martinez is a small MW. The two biggest draws in the fight game happen to both have won belts at a weight Sergio thinks he can still make, if he can make it down to 154 I see nothing wrong with him trying to get those fights. I also see nothing wrong with Pac and May refusing the fight due to the belief that Sergio is too big.

  • i wonder why sergio marinez is not calling out lucian bute, andre ward or arthur abraham, is it true that he is a gay?
