On the Day God Died

People said "there is no god, you're just trying to fill a need."
but on the day god finally died every f*ckin soul believed.

on the day god died the people got some really shitty news.
the land they had exploited was no longer producing food.

on the day god died all the waters ran sour, as arsenic leeched from the ground.
everyone who was affected by this died quickly without a sound.

on the day god died the air became too thick and harsh to breathe,
and atheists around the world said" we're sorry god help us please"

as every human died that day, no savior came to help.
nobody went to heaven, cause we fuckin killed ourself.

the silly humans who thought god died were really pretty dense.
god didn't f*ckin die at all, it was simply self-defense.

We exist because THIS PLANET SUPPORTS OUR LIFE. bottom line. We are taking advantage of that, and systematically destroying our life support system.

Once we align with that intent, no monster is invincible, no mountain immovable. Once we align with ourselves, we are provided for by The One. Until then, we are suicidal, exploiting ourselves, thinking we're gonna get anything out of it.

How can you say this, dn? I watched the video, I even read the details at the same time... Although I feel the same in regards of the damages we are causing, I also go along isocahedron13's comment, since I do not believe in any god except NATURE ITSELF... And this doesn't remove any value to your poem, it's rather good, but no, I don't believe in god, allah, buddah, or any of those fairy tales. So I just replaced "god" by "Nature" in your poem. Works for me.
