they should have never teared this place down. i am 31, and used to ride on a mat at age 4 or 5 down the same Wet Willy's in Atlanta. It's a tear jerky watching what used to be and the ghost-town image Wet Willy's gives off. But what makes me really sad is they way they treat our youth. Leave it there, let them skate!! Skating is not a fucking crime

It's a shame they just let the water slide sit there and rot away. You know what I don't get is all these abandoned buildings and old amusement parks have signs that say "Stay Out" and "No Trespassing": if you wanted us to stay the hell out, then tear the d*mned things down and don't gripe about it!!!

as far as I know its still there just overgrown by nature ... there have been talks of structures being built there but nothing as of yet. 

kinda sad I used to go there as a kid.

Skating is one way to make do with an abandoned water slide. Another idea I thought of is making a nice little mini cart by attaching wheels to a piece of plywood and riding it down the slide.
