  • does it work with 3D glasses?

  • It is part of a project to print actual 3D objects, search zcorp on google to get the idea

  • The gantry waits for the printer, if you look at the other video I start by showing what was the paper feed mechanism. The microcontroller reads the encoder on this and when the time comes runs the stepper motor in sync. The gantry return is done simply by printing a blank page with the direction pin reversed going to the stepper motor drive. The rails I bought from a friend, probably ex-ebay, they are IKO and are very nice!

  • I think it probably returns a bit too fast!

  • what software are you using to split .stl files and convert it to image or print directly to printer?

  • I'm making the same 3d printer using HP 5440 printer parts...

I made it a flat printer but I don't know how I can controll the printing process and feeding process the same way you did... please help me.

  • How'd you get the printer to wait for the gantry to move and when the time comes to spread powder between "pages"? Also, where are the linear rails from? They look really nice.
