Notice how nobody calls him 'honest john" anymore. Even if he said "sorry" now, it would only be a lie. Australian Election 2007, Prime Minister "honest" John Howard is trying to lie his way to another election victory. His cohorts Tony Abbort, Malcolm Turnbull, Alexander Downer & Peter Costello wait to feed off the remains. Howard's record of keeping Australia refugee free, environmental distruction and taking the country to war is impressive. But he needs another "babies overboard" scandle badly.

he wasted a one off mining boom? really? lol how do you define waste? he was the first prime minister to put a limit on inflation 2-3%. without his work the australia economy would have been screwed during the GFC.

John Howard like Pauline Hanson, Philip Ruddock, like the Maralinga bomb tests, like the White Australia Policy, like the Children (I mean Truth) overbard affair, like the Tampa refugee tragedy , like the past treatment of Indigenous Australians like many other disgusting,destructive things & pollution will be a lasting source of disgrace and shame.

But thank God many Australians finally woke up and he was finally gotten rid of. There's a lot of work and healing to be done within Australia.
