1995 Choir of the World - UST Singers

The University of Santo Tomas singers or simply the UST singers is one of the most respected choirs in the Philippines. In 1995 they won the title " CHOIR OF THE WORLD" at the world's oldest Choir Olympics the " Llangollen Eisteddfod". Currently, they are only Asian choir to receive such a title. (Wow... talk about UP vs. UST...) I think UP is famous because they got the scholars of the country, plus they're carrying the name of the country itself. But correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think sila ang #1 University... (maybe yes, based on studies conducted worldwide). I don't say #1 ang UST, pero kung ibi-base mismo sa mga board exams, it's UST who bags the topnotch. Plus, abroad, mas kilala ang UST compared to other Philippine universities despite the ranks.
