If the SL Gov have nothing to hide then why are aid agencies, media and observers being banned from the affected areas.
During the conflict earlier this year the LTTE wrote to all of the most powerful contries in the world begging them to come and see what was happenning. The British, French and Swedish foreign ministers wanted to visit the affected areas, but were banned by the SL Gov.
There is not a single independent investigation which supports the SL Gov account of events.

Human Rights Watch is an independent organisation, this is not propaganda, but the result of their detailed research. As they said the areas where these disappearances were happening were in Gov controlled areas.
The UN also agree that Sri Lanka is the World's leading country for disappearances by Gov forces.
