  • Great Job!

I've been reading so much stuff about the mevi and 00vi swap im kinda lost lol. Any pointers will be very much appreciated. I just picked up my 00vi from a 2000 max, w/ the tb and LIM and injectors w/ harness.

  • @Sliksing013 I'd definitley use a 5th gen iacv or pathfinder iacv. Label EVERYTHING you disconnect from your usim. Vacuum hose routing is tedious as multiple guides on maxima.org contradict themselves, so I pulled up the FSM and tracked down the vacuum hoses. If you delete the EGR, it is very likely that you get a CEL even if you leave the temp sensor plugged in. I still have the egr temp sensor plugged in, but every now and then (usually months apart) I'll get a code for egr hi/low flow.

  • @Sliksing013 Be careful bolting the 00vi on. The two middle bolts on the front row of the 00vi are easy to strip (ask me how I know...) I'd use the rear valve cover and coils if you can, less intrusive should you ever need to return to stock. Which intake are you planning to use with the 00vi? Thats about all I can think of at the moment.
