To all you guys insulting that great car you just can't admit that once again, Chevrolet has scored. The «fire issue» with the Volt is non sense. After a crash, the car took fire after 3 weeks. Who the hell stays in a car 3 weeks after it has crashed ???

@delta2230 Have you forgotten about "Clean, Green Energy" my friend??....Volt owners are already installing solar panels on the roofs of their homes in order to charge their electric vehicles using free, solar energy and off the grid. Does it take a rocket scientist to realize the advantage, potential & full benefits of electric cars??....come on, dude!...don't you have the power to think??

@bonds911 It's sad to say but Nissan is way behind the Volt in looks and styling alone, not to mention the other features & technology. Your stupid Leaf is extremely ugly styling-wise and does not have the extended range of the Volt. The Leaf can leave you stranded anywhere, anytime, not so with the Volt....also, Nissan is the least reliable Japanese brand, plus...a car with a name like the "Leaf" just doesn't cut it..it sounds too gayish to be taken seriously by men. Women might buy it, though.

@LetsgetphysicalAg Way to go, my friend!....there are a lot of haters out there, I know!...I guess these people can't stand the fact that GM has a winner here and they are all angry because the car is a success!...I just don't get it!...these people are all Toyota Prius & Nissan Leaf lovers for whatever reason. I don't understand why anyone would like the exterior styling of those things, being so ugly-looking!...on the other hand, the Chevy Volt has awesome futuristic styling!...beautiful car!!

@iDiggMGL Well, the price will eventually come down as production and time progresses, plus, right now you'll get all kinds of discounts & rebates to encourage people to buy them, even the government will pitch in a nice $7,500 discount for you, so in essence a nicelly equipped Volt will run you about $31,000. My brother recently bought one and his monthly car payment is only $350 a month USD. He traded in his newer GMC Sierra truck which was burning $450 a month in gas, on top of his truck pay.

@camarojoe1997 Good job, camarojoe...my brother just picked one up at the dealership recently and it's an awesome car!...we have to buy domestic brands to support our own economy, not another country's, and to get us out of this mess we're in. GM sold almost 10,000 Chevy Volts worldwide last year 2011, in their first year of production, not bad for a first year effort using brand new technology!....this model year 2012 will be even better!......America #1. hell yeah!!!
