Sorry 11 forms....

Gumdo is only korean. The way of saber in Japan is named Iai- do, kendo and kenjustsu depending upon technics used. The saber is quite identical, that' s why haidong forms can be learned as well as japaneses katas. The one presented here is korean form n°7 (upon 10 ), but I should have been more fluid.

It' s only part of Hai dong Gumdo form or kata. The forms learnt in Japan are shorter or parted in short ( Iai do ), Korean forms are visually more pleasant. Anyway, they request a loooong training, I' m far from masters skill.

Haidong Gumdo is traditional korean saber art, like iai- do or kendo in Japan. I cannot say about origin, it has been developed for ages and codified during middle age. The forms used very nice and rich.

Standard Kenpo keikogi and a white hakama. Normally put above the keikogi in Japan and under in Corea.
