ALL DONE WITHOUT OLDSCHOOL OR CHEATS.
THE ROCKET JUMPS CAN BE DONE WITH STRAFE JUMPS, THE ROCKET ONLY MAKES IT EASIER.
THIS MEANS THAT THE CHAMBERS IN DISTRICT AND ESPECIALLY AMBUSH CAN BE DONE WITH A STRAFE JUMP.
This video will help you perform all the tricks neccecary for certain jumps / glitches. THIS VIDEO HAS 2 NEW SNIPERSPOTS IN DISTRICT AND BLOC.

is it even possible to shoot from the glitch areas where u are "inside" the buildings, shooting @ people outside those buildings i mean, or do the bullets get negated or...?

when u shoot from behind a 'exploited" wall some game engines dont allow the bullets to go through, just like other regular walls.
In other game engines the bullets just go through those exploited walls like there aint a wall. now my question is what is the case in cod4?;)

The bullets are not allowed to go through the wall, so you need to use the windows. You can see that in my video called Using extreme spots...
