The Air Force Academy Cadet Wing attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest dodgeball game on the Academy's terrazzo May 18, 2011.

The current record is held by the University of Alberta, Canada with 2,012 participants. The Academy unofficially had 3,623 players at the start of the game. Guinness World Records must verify the numbers based on the Academy's documentation before the record can be officially broken.

1,050 dodgeballs were used by cadets, 84 referees were present, and the game took approximately 90 minutes.
