Let's face it, if you don't have a Miura, an NSX isn't a bad car! Fantastic work :D

I love this. What a clever video. Hard to be a car guy and not smile watching this. I am jealous.

Great Job! :-) just like the 60's ! except for the wind noise. but otherwise great ... even the van at the side of the road around 1:00 :D just awesome.
Love this video. Intending to so this in an XJ6 in the summer on the way to Italy - or do you have to go the opposite direction to reproduce the route taken in the film?

The film takes some liberties. For the story to work the mafia should be waiting on the Italian side of the pass. However the opening shot of the bridge is on the Italian side, and I'm fairly sure the descent is on the Italian side too. The Italian side is steeper and more dramatic than the swiss side. The roadworks on the Italian side should be complete by now however you do it you will enjoy the drive :)

is this the Stelvio Pass that Top Gear drove through? Where is the tunnel from the movie?

@bentleyv8t - There is a small section of footage taken from the Stelvio, but mostly it's the Grand St Bernard Pass where The Italian Job was filmed. For more coverage of the Stelvio check out my other video. The tunnel from the movie isn't on the GSB pass at all. The Italian Job fan sites will tell you where it actually is.

It is the same bridge used in the film. My opening shots are the same as the ones in the movie - deliberately! Can't find the bridge name but is close to Aosta in the Aosta valley at the southern end of the Grand St Bernard Pass, on the Italian side. Hope that helps.
