some footage of my coverage of the demonstration this evening 10/04/2010 - In the last scene I got shot and also had a broken arm, so I couldn't film on...

Its a communist marxist revolution. It has nothing to do with democracy, and these people have no idea why they are out there. There is an excellent article with Thaksin's former TRT MP about the real motives behind this on Asia Times, and 2Bangkok has a section titled "red publications" that shows Lenin surfing a red wave and in Thai it is encouraging everyone to rise up like the commie scum in Russia during the Red Terror. Don't listen to these dopes, read yourself.
The government know the would loose the election thats why they wont give up. the money given to the red shirts is for food, if they didnt have any money how could they survive.
this government put thailand in about 700,000,000,000 baht in dept and before when taksin was in the government thailand had money taksin cleared thailand of dept.
actually it is a protest for demoracy this government paid the yellow shirts and the red shirts want democracy. the soldiers opened fire first so why not fight back the soldiers killed a bout three people before the red shirts fought back. Using no violence my ass the priminister did the same thing last year now hes doing it again, he's ordering the soldierls to kill people ur so stupid.
In case anyone is interested, Raksaht is full of it- "he even offered to hold an open election, just not right away" right, 9 months from now is not exactly "right away," is it, more like next year. After he and his pals get fat off of the budget they are trying to pass.
This is not a peaceful protest. This is not a protest for democracy. This is not a protest for anything other than free handouts from a filthy rich elite politician who handed out tax payers money to get the poor people on his side. The current PM is doing everything possible to end this without resorting to using violence and he even offered to hold an open election, just not right away. The red side is unreasonable and unrealistic.

Great 'in the thick of it' footage. You should be selling this stuff - not posting it here for nothing.

and by the way apisit and his friends were kicked out yesterday.
A group of kids could do better than them.
All they did was borrow money kill people and find excuses not to get in jail.
