Risks from trying to impose a Western developed nation democracy model on rest of world. Need to respect different political traditions, forms of government and cultural differences. Seeking to impose democratic system can be seen as form of cultural imperialism. Voting systems and government structures vary hugely.   • Iv'e always been told that there is no such thing as a democracy anywhere in the world. I'm told my denocracy ( au ) and others like it are representative democracys.
