Yes, but I find it irritating when hundreds of people buy into this illogical bs that she sells; it seems no better than a magazine on celebs, seeing as how both have the "seemingly perfect guy" in them, yet both lack originality. She stole 90% of the plot for her book from a decent vampire series written by Anne Rice. Also, this novel kills the entire concept of what the vampire is by trying to make it seem cutesy. Anyway...

Actually vampires are a hetero sexual symbol for both danger and sex( male vampires tend to only bite women and female vampires only bite men).

while werewolves are it's gay equivelent (male werewolves only bite and turn men and female werewolves only bite and turn women)

meaning that the passive emo vampire is essentiale a chastised version of sex.

and the werewolf that's in love with bella a desprate attempt to hetero a gay symbol.

forget 'Twilight' or the old stuff, The Vampires from Ladria Adrians novels are much better.

'The Vampire Diaries' is ok but I like even more 'True Blood', 'Moonlight' or 'Blood Ties'. Anne Rice( 'Queen of the Damned' ) is also nice but much more I like is Brams St. Dracula (Movie) & the Movies 'Wes Craven Dracula' w/ G. Butler

But from all that I really love the 'Underworld' movies.
