@jmard24 i dont think there will ever be another carmichael beacuse he was the best of the best in the sport. i dont think anyone can beat carmichael records going 24-0 2 times in motocross and winning 7 titles in a row in motocross and win 3 titles in a row in supercross and winning over 150 races when he retired he had total of 15 titles. and winning 1 title each year full time in 10 years in the sport i really dont think anyone can do it again.

@6661a7xdecendant yea but the IFS are based on mechanical problems that were out of Dungey's control and without them he would have one both championships. Again I am not taking anything away from RV but to say someone that has one outdoor and one indoor title is comparable to someone who has 5 supercross titles and 7 outdoor titles posting two perfect seasons outdoors, to say that they are even close is absurd!

@ChileWuajaja Oh you must mean the Monster Energy Cup where Dungey was racing a KTM he had only 6 DAYS OF RIDING ON! Also if Dungey's bike didn't pop a chain in Supercross he would have won the championship. In Nationals Dungey had the win at Freestone and his bike ran out of gas so he got a DNF. At Southwick he won the first moto straight up but his bike didn't make the gate at the second moto. After being OVER A MINUTE late Dungey entered the track and finished 7th, only 3 spots behind RV.
