This bomb looks like the B53 type that they are now disassembling. That was built in the early 60's? So what type is this one??

@heyyyyyynow I first read "Like my wife" ;)

That was a very pretty bomb. May I have another?

This one looked like a Castle Bravo shot, am I wrong?
-
Uh, wrong.
First, the first deliverable thermonuclear weapons test was "Cherokee" from operation redwing. The explosion was castle bravo-the first dry fuel thermonuclear device- 2 years before.
These are two different films, spliced together.
Fail.

One moment, there were not "H2-H 2fusion bombs, because such a weapon would be too big to be carried by an airplane! even by a B-52 castle Bravo used Lithium-deutheride, (lithium-6 is also a fixile element, so gives energy to whole process), others probably hydrogen- composts
beautiful and horrific at the same time. just like life.

Please, just look up Hydrogen Bomb on wiki, educate yourself. It doesn't split hydrogen atoms, it fuses them.
