I have been checking for ages for someone to post this so thanks for putting this on Youtube. This is WAY off the topic of the song but years ago, a friend made a mix tape for me which included C&C and Clan of Xymox amongst others. There was a song which started with an overdub where a man is saying, "it's a wee bit small but it will have to do." Any idea what that song may be or who did it? It has haunted me for years.

One of their very best songs. I forget the name of the compilation it originally appeared on ... it was an album on the theme of anti-cruelty to animals, which gives the song's lyrics an interesting connotation that might not be evident otherwise. "The Silent Cry" worked very nicely as part of their live act during the 1987 tour with SPK as well.
