Baker Bowl, also known as The Dump by the Hump!

Baker Bowl, an early home of the Philadelphia Phillies was known as the dump by the hump because of a hump in the outfield caused by an undergroud train. How did Grover Cleveland Alexander do so good pitching in a park with such very little rightfield? He WAS that good!

At least the Phillies don't stink anymore! They've given fans quite a ride from 2007-2011 so far. 2007 - swept out of the 1st round. 2008 - "World (bleeping) champions!" 2009 - Beaten by the Damn Yankees. 2010 - Lost NLCS to (yikes) the Giants. 2011 - Supposed to have best rotation in all of MLB history. Let's see what kind of ride we get!

Yes, that's definitely a well-known urban legend - someone snuck into Baker Bowl one night and wrote "And they still stink" under the Lifebuoy sign.
