Oak Ridge Boys "Heart of Mine" was a #3 Country Music Hit in 1980. It was released on there MCA Records LP "Together" a #10 Country Music Album. Oak Ridge Boys were the 7th biggest Country artist of the '80's. They had 17 #1 Hits, 34 Top 10 Hits and 20 Top 40 Albums to there credit. The Oaks won CMA Vocal Group Award in 1978 and Single of the Year for "Elvira" in 1981. They also won a Grammy Award for Vocal Group in 1981. They were just made members of the Opry in 2011. The Oaks still record and tour year round as of 2011.

  • I saw the Oaks in concert at the Kentucky State Fair one month ago (August 2011). They still put on an unforgettable show. They have appeared 36 consecutive years at the Kentucky State Fair-a streak that began in 1976, and one that will never be broken by anyone else.
