It took me years to arrive at a point in my life where I was willing to spend money on a pistol chambered carbine (or PC for short). Fun to shoot and a bit more economical for sure but in the end I spent my limited funds on more powerful and capable weapon systems. However in past years I have "matured" in my prespective and understand that within 100 yards or so (preferably 50 for me), the PCs can get the job done. And they do it with a lighter weight, at a cheaper cost, and usually with recoil and blast versus the tactical carbine. In this Nutnfancy Systems Philosophy video, I discuss the key considerations and Philosophies of Use for the pistol carbines. Considerations of economy, ammo commonality, SAWC, power/ballistics, and accuracy are addressed. Then I launch into the interesting discussions of POU where I identify roles as a Recreation Device, Wilderness/Kit Gun, "Urban Fighter," Home Defense Gun, Submachine Gun Facsimile, Training Platform, and Women's/Kid's Defensive Weapon. In this analysis, the PCs are compared in stark fashion against its primary rivals, the handgun and tactical carbine or rifle. The latter still retains power, accuracy, range, and obstacle defeating capabilities that the PCs, even with their higher velocities, will always lack. For most serious purposes, I will still go out with my rifle, thank you very much. But in my extensive testing I have found the PCs to quite capable, accurate, reliable, more economical, extremely entertaining, and incredibly light and compact in some models (like the excellent Kel-Tec Sub-2000). In many of the POUs discussed, they gain the advantage. And in the end, I guess they don't suck afterall. //////////// Music: "Takin Yo Time ( The Wingman Mix )" by Loveshadow (feat. • Thoughts on the Thureon Defense 9mm compared to other pcs.

  • Home defense: one word: Shotgun

  • Really ENJOY your videos NutnFancy! Who's the artist singing in this video?

  • Wonder when they will get around to a .45acp chambering for the sub2000. That would be interesting.

  • @codybrady100 .500 S&W is 12.7x41mm while .50 Beowulf is 12.7x42mm. If your considering this you might as well just shoot slugs out of your 12 gauge for similar ballistics and not spend all the money for the upper and expensive ammo.

  • they still look retarded though

  • if only the sub2k were a bullpup...

  • the music...why god, must he add music?!?!

  • @codybrady100 Tromix makes, or at least used to make a .50ae upper receiver for AR's. You should also look into .50 beowulf and .458 socom
