Hey guys, would this guitar be suitable for playing Metallica?? I mean, the pickups are the same, but it's still a Fender.. Plus I can't find it anywhere here just to try it out so i would really appreciate some hints about it..thanks guys..

tbh, out of all the signature guitars ive ever tried, i've never been more impressed with the Jim Root Telecaster and Strato, its comftable, has awesome tones, suites my style. seriously in the future when i can buy my Fender (my dream guitar) i will buy the Jim Root Signature. =)
also, Jim Root is one of my faves.

God damn it, stop hating on Paul... he's a very cool guy with a great personality, as you can clearly tell by the videos he does, and honestly, he is an amazing guitarist. Anyone here even realize that most everything he plays is improvised? This guy is a musical genius, so stop hating.
Paul, and the rest of Guitar World, keep up the great work ! I'd love to see some video lessons with Paul as well
